The engineering EOD team operated this JCB excavator since they captured it in the Izium area in the Kharkiv counteroffensive. It was beneficial and helped dig trenches and positions. However, nothing lasts forever and eventually, it got beaten up by the shelling.
Our dudes from 80th reached out to us to help them get the wheels to fix JCB, as they were completely wrecked.

Together with the military commander, we contacted the initial owner and got to know his story. When Russians occupied the area, they scanned all the agricultural facilities to steal the equipment.
Ultimately, we made a thoughtful decision to give the JCB back to the owner so he could repair it and get back into his agricultural thing. He was extra thankful.
The wheels will stay in the unit and will be used as spares for other excavators.
