Dzyga's Paw.
Ukrainian Military Charity Fund
Dzyga’s Paw is a Ukrainian charity that equips frontline soldiers with the technology they need to protect our independence. Since February 2022, we’ve raised over $6 million from thousands of donors across 70+ countries, and delivered drones, Starlinks, night vision, and other hi-tech gear directly to 100+ military units.
We started as one person and a dog. Today, we’re a professional team of specialists and volunteers, officially registered in Ukraine, trusted by donors from the US, Europe, Japan, Latin America, and beyond. The median donation to our fund is $23 — because this is a people’s movement, not institutional funding.
Full transparency is the core of our fund. We built our own automated financial reporting system: every donation, every purchase, every delivery — tracked and reported publicly. You can see exactly what we’re raising for and read the delivery report when equipment reaches the unit. We invest significant internal resources to maintain this level of accountability because international donors deserve to know exactly where their money goes.
Why We Support the Military,
Not Humanitarian Aid
The humanitarian crisis in Ukraine is a consequence of Russia’s invasion. While humanitarian aid addresses the symptoms, ending the war requires addressing the cause.
That’s why we focus on equipping Ukraine’s defenders with technology that helps save lives and gain an advantage on the battlefield. We supply drones, Starlinks, night vision devices, and electronic warfare systems, working directly with military units to ensure every piece of equipment is needed, tested, and effectively used.
We believe the fastest path to rebuilding Ukraine is to stop the destruction first. That’s why we focus on supporting Ukrainian Defence Forces.
What We Deliver
We work directly with military units, which means we know what’s actually needed, not just what’s easy to procure. We stay in constant contact with soldiers, regularly visit frontline areas, follow the rapid development of military technologies, and invest in new solutions ourselves.
Over the years, we delivered:
1,000+ Drones
FPV bombers, Mavics, strike wings, and kamikaze systems
1,000+ Starlinks
sustained connectivity for frontline units
2,500+ Electronic Warfare Systems
jamming and reconnaissance equipment
11,000+ Drone Parts
components and expertise for in-unit engineering teams: connecting soldiers with Ukrainian and international manufacturers and defense companies
6,500+ Care Packages
power banks, gloves, multitools, and other consumables that soldiers actually ask for
Since 2022, we’ve raised and delivered over $6 million worth of equipment to 100+ units.
Our Story
In February 2022, Dimko Zhluktenko quit his IT job the day Russia launched its full-scale invasion. He started volunteering, supporting Ukrainian military units, and eventually founded a charity named after his dog.
The name came naturally. One day, Dzyga ran through a pile of parcels with dirty paws, leaving a print on the military uniform they were about to send. That pawprint became the logo, the stamp, and the name. A small moment that stuck.
In 2024, Dimko joined the Ukrainian Army. The foundation passed into the hands of his wife Iryna, who had been by his side from the very beginning.
What started as a one-person initiative has grown into a professional organization — with project managers, logistics, media, and transparency departments, lawyers, accountants, and a team of volunteers. Officially registered in Ukraine, operating in full compliance with Ukrainian law.
Dzyga still helps out. Mainly because she personally sniffs out almost every parcel.
