Crucial mine probes

to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine!

Thanks to our community and ambassadors, we raised over $17K to equip demining officers across Ukraine with 416 mine probes. These probes are essential in the daily operations of the SESU demining crews, and a single probe costs around $39.

We spent over $15,000 to buy the probes and already delivered them to SESU.

Saving lives by helping deminers!

A huge part of Ukraine is contaminated with the remnants of war, which daily endanger the lives of civilians trying to live their normal lives.

Ukrainian Emergency Services demining crews regularly strive to make life in Ukraine safer with the limited resources and enormous risk not only because of the specifics of their work but also of being prime targets of the russian army, which takes its pride in killing anyone who refuses to be afraid and does it’s best for Ukrainian victory.

One SESU unit requires 16 mine probes to operate efficiently. We are deploying 26 SESU units throughout Ukraine, which means we’ll be supplying a total of 416 mine probes.

Why mine probes?

The probes help deminers avoid unnecessary movement when looking for the mines under grass, ground or snow layers. It is an important and effective addition to the mine detector, which helps to verify the detection signals and identify the traps under the mines.

Also, it is a key instrument for working in areas where mine detectors become much less effective, such as areas full of metal scraps and junk.

Similar to securing safe movement, ADS are crucial to evacuating wounded soldiers. They prevent enemy detection and attacks, ensuring that evacuation teams can carry out their missions without additional threats.

Engineering units responsible for laying mines in gray zones and building defensive lines, bridges, and crossings during the advancement of assault units rely on ADS to ensure their safety. These systems help maintain secure logistical connections with the rear, ensuring the continuity of operations.

Soldiers, in particular, FPV drone operators can work closer to enemy lines with relative safety by using ADS. These systems protect against enemy detection and attacks, enhancing both safety and operational effectiveness.

Moving to and from combat positions is one of the most dangerous moments for troops, especially for FPV drone teams. ADS blocks enemy signals, ensuring safer movement and preventing enemy drones from targeting and destroying the crew.
