The senior lieutenant of the 30th Mechanized Brigade Orest Rys, was killed in action near Bakhmut. Join us in commemorating the life and sacrifice of Orest by empowering his friends from the 14th Regiment with DJI Mavic 3 Pro FMC drones and other technical equipment.

Empowering the 14th Regiment!
I never wanted to join an army, but now I feel like I belong here.
Orest, call sign “Zaliznyak, was a close friend of Dzyga’s Paw. Tragically, in late December, Orest lost his life in the line of duty in the Bakhmut direction.
Since the age of 18 in 2014, Orest had been dedicated to the cause of war, rising through the ranks from volunteer to the position Chief of Intelligence – Assistant Chief of Staff of the 1st Rifle Battalion. Throughout his military journey, he consistently emphasized two principles: the importance of valuing people and the perpetual pursuit of learning.
He lived his life
Beyond his military commitments, Orest was passionate about music, hiking, tourism. He actively participated in a choir and loved playing guitar.
Orest had a wife – Roksolana. He confessed his love in the presence of his friends and mentors, and she happily agreed.
14th Regiment
14th Regiment of Unmanned Aviation Systems is a military unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, formed in August 2023. The unit has been performing tasks since the first days of the russian full-scale invasion in February 2022. The regiment stands out for its motivated personnel. All individuals who have joined the regiment are either mobilized personnel or seasoned military professionals with extensive service backgrounds.
We are dedicated to providing Orest’s friends with technical equipment essential for performing combat missions, which includes:
- 3 DJI Mavic 3 PRO FMC drones = $6,915
- 10 Starlinks = $3,950
- 17 Motorola radios = $8,565
