Liberal democracy
We arose as an emergency response to the russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022. We found it to be an existential threat for us as Ukrainians, and still consider it such. Therefore, we have dedicated our efforts to helping Ukrainian Defenders gain a technological edge over russian forces.
We are on the ground with many deep personal connections in the Ukrainian Army and Special Forces, and we develop that relationship to help them with more than just equipment. We talk to them to discover their use cases, do our research, and propose how technology could positively affect their operations and multiply their efforts with conventional arms supplied by the Allies. Research, Prototype, Scale – this is how we treat technology in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and we are making our impact here where the government is too slow to keep up.
Our motives are pretty obvious – we are Ukrainians, and it’s our friends fighting. We want to save our country and friends.
Transparency
We are trusted by our donors and Ukrainian soldiers who rely on us. This trust must be empowered by our efforts to display how we operate transparently. Transparency builds trust. In practicality, to back it up, we have created a transparency solution and published it on our website where anyone can find all our donations and spending, along with more advanced dashboards that give you an idea of what we are doing, based explicitly on live data.
Optimization via digitalization
We believe NGOs are generally not using technologies enough, resulting in suboptimal solutions for their projects. Coming from an IT background, we know very well that technology is the key to optimizing processes, and NGOs are no different. We must be optimal to maximize impact, and digital solutions are often the answer.
Proactivity
We really care about the results we produce. It’s not just a job for us but a way to put our educated efforts into fighting an existential threat to our lives. So, the stakes are high, and we always seek opportunities to help Ukraine win at least one second sooner.
Competence
Given our relations with the aid receivers, we can make competent decisions based on our research. We are boots on the ground, with no cultural or language barrier, and this also helps us make informed and optimal decisions. We believe it’s most effective if we work on the problems within our expertise and improve our knowledge to be more competent.
Accountability
Both by law and morale, we are accountable before our military and donors. We are responsible for everything we do, and, given the transparency, everyone can see what we do.
Liberal democracy
We believe in Liberal Democracy to guarantee our own individual liberties, as well as our rights to self-determination as a nation – which is precisely what russian forces are trying to violate by invading Ukraine. Freedom is dear to us, and we are ready to fight for it.
Similar to securing safe movement, ADS are crucial to evacuating wounded soldiers. They prevent enemy detection and attacks, ensuring that evacuation teams can carry out their missions without additional threats.
Engineering units responsible for laying mines in gray zones and building defensive lines, bridges, and crossings during the advancement of assault units rely on ADS to ensure their safety. These systems help maintain secure logistical connections with the rear, ensuring the continuity of operations.
Soldiers, in particular, FPV drone operators can work closer to enemy lines with relative safety by using ADS. These systems protect against enemy detection and attacks, enhancing both safety and operational effectiveness.
Moving to and from combat positions is one of the most dangerous moments for troops, especially for FPV drone teams. ADS blocks enemy signals, ensuring safer movement and preventing enemy drones from targeting and destroying the crew.
