GALKA UAS
Our friends from the 3rd Battalion of the 14th Separate Regiment of the AFU have asked our help in acquiring a Valk-1 Galka UAV.
Unmanned aircraft system ‘VALK-1 GALKA’ is a tactical UAS intended to provide aerial reconnaissance, real-time video surveillance, and artillery fire adjustment.
This Ukrainian-made UAS is capable of performing reconnaissance missions in various weather conditions, covering distances up to 45 kilometers and remaining in flight for over 120 minutes!
We are thrilled to support a Ukrainian initiative by purchasing drones manufactured in Ukraine, instead of opting for Chinese alternatives.
The photos of the production process are from the Washington Post article. To see the full article and learn more about GALKA UAS click here.
14th Regiment of the AFU
14th Regiment is a military unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces that has been performing tasks since the first days of the russian full-scale invasion in February 2022. The regiment’s uniqueness lies in the motivation of its personnel: most soldiers started their combat service in 2014 and, after February 24, returned to defend the country, performing admirably on the front lines. The regiment’s soldiers and officers have participated in the counter-offensive in the Kherson region, as well as operations in the Luhansk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions .
Now the defenders, the soldiers of the 14th Regiment, specialise in reconnaissance and attack UAVs and continue to work along the entire front line. And we can help them become even more efficient!
