Saving lives with Anti Drone Systems!

Support Ukrainian Defenders!

The increasing presence of FPV drones on the frontline poses a significant threat. To ensure the safety and effectiveness of our military, it’s essential to find ways to mitigate risks. For that reason, we are launching a fundraiser for 6 Anti Drone Systems.

Each ADS costs $5,000, totaling our goal at $30,000.

$32,236 raised for 6 ADS

We spent $25,094 and provided 3 units with this life-saving equipment so they can safely continue their practical work.

We delivered 3 ADS to our hero, Panda. He leads multiple airborne reconnaissance crews and serves as a pilot, sapper, and technician.

The fourth ADS to our hero and friend Oleh Paw and his unit.

We provided the last two ADS to Max EOD and his sapper team from the 77th Brigade, who mine areas to halt russian attacks.

Ultimately, we spent $7,142 less because as an officially registered charity, we are exempt from paying the 20% VAT on the five anti-drone systems we bought from a Ukrainian manufacturer.

Also, we secured a great deal with a technician who built a custom device to meet Oleg’s Paw unit specifications and didn’t charge for his labor.

What is ADS?

Anti Drone System or Electronic Warfare Systems (EWS) disrupt enemy communications and drone operations within a particular area. This specific 5-channel ADS creates a protective zone around itself by jamming enemy signals, making it harder for them to target our Heroes accurately.

Why are ADSs important?

In modern warfare, ADSs play a crucial role in safeguarding lives on the battlefield. They help protect our positions by blocking enemy communications and drone control signals. This technology denies the enemy the ability to gather information or launch precise attacks near our forces.

ADS can be deployed in different situations, like protecting bases or escorting convoys. Their flexibility and effectiveness are crucial for countering evolving threats and ensuring the safety of our military.

Heroes in need of ADS

Oleh Paw

Before joining the Ukrainian armed forces, Oleh worked for charitable organizations, including Dzyga’s Paw, assisting people affected by the war and the Ukrainian military.

However, feeling that this was not enough, Oleh enlisted in the army. He now serves as a logistics clerk in the 198th Battalion of the Luhansk Territorial Defense Brigade. His responsibilities include ensuring soldiers can access support from volunteers and charities, and actively seeking and managing these resources.

Currently stationed near Pokrovsk, Oleh’s battalion faces daily casualties due to enemy unmanned aerial vehicles and kamikaze drones. There’s a critical need for electronic warfare equipment to save soldiers’ lives.

Panda

Our friend Panda enlisted in the AFU in 2019 with the desire of becoming an anti-tank gunner, yet fate led him to serve as a mortarman in the infantry combat brigades. He faced the horrors of full-scale invasion alongside fellow mortarmen until the autumn of ’22 when he was reassigned to infantry duty near Bakhmut.

Despite his platoon sergeant rank, Panda volunteered for reconnaissance missions using quadcopters. Since then, he has built a solid aerial reconnaissance battalion, leading multiple airborne reconnaissance crews where he serves as a pilot, sapper, and technician.

Max EOD

Max, in his early 20s, boasts a solid military background, particularly in Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and military engineering, currently serving as a company commander.

His military journey is closely tied to his long-standing friendship with Dimko Zhluktenko. They became friends in high school and strengthened their bond through shared experiences in Lviv. While Dimko pursued studies at Polytechnic University, Max embarked on his path at the Military School, a decision that would ultimately shape his dedication to serving his country.

Similar to securing safe movement, ADS are crucial to evacuating wounded soldiers. They prevent enemy detection and attacks, ensuring that evacuation teams can carry out their missions without additional threats.

Engineering units responsible for laying mines in gray zones and building defensive lines, bridges, and crossings during the advancement of assault units rely on ADS to ensure their safety. These systems help maintain secure logistical connections with the rear, ensuring the continuity of operations.

Soldiers, in particular, FPV drone operators can work closer to enemy lines with relative safety by using ADS. These systems protect against enemy detection and attacks, enhancing both safety and operational effectiveness.

Moving to and from combat positions is one of the most dangerous moments for troops, especially for FPV drone teams. ADS blocks enemy signals, ensuring safer movement and preventing enemy drones from targeting and destroying the crew.
